Newborn Sessions are all about Celebrating this New Little Life!
I absolutely adore these sessions, they make my heart so full. As many newborn sessions as I have done, the excitement I have for parents coming into the studio will never diminish. Seeing those tiny fingers, toes and nose's I can't help but smile, and that "new baby smell" never gets old to me.
They are the most precious and most amazing thing you will ever lay your eyes on, and the chance for me to capture that for you to treasure forever, is an honor.
The session is relaxed and not rushed. We keep the environment in the studio womb-like, with the heat high, dim light and white noise soothing your little one to sleep. We can take as many breaks as needed to feed, change and soothe the baby.
I have plenty of newborn outfit's, wraps, headbands and hats for you to choose from at the studio. Please feel free to bring anything special you would like to incorporate into the images, but there is no need to go out of your way to bring props. I have plenty of great options to match your style!
I have found it best to plan on having your session within the first 10 to 14 days of life. They are still sleepy enough to curl up nice and cozy tight, while they are now used to having a full belly of milk, and take a nice snooze for a bit. The best part is you guys can sit back with a coffee, snack and relax while I create some beautiful images for you, having those moments last forever. (Please note, session times on average will run 2 to 3 hours.)
It is best to pre-register a few months prior to your expected delivery date. Please feel free to call me, email me or fill out the info on the Contact Me page and I will happily get back to you so we can get you penciled in for your due date.
Once that little one decides it’s time to arrive (of course that is always flexible!) you are home and settled, give me a call to schedule the best time to have the baby art begin!

Additional gallery Information
Newborn Sessions require a $100 non-refundable deposit at time of booking, to hold your session date. That deposit then gets put towards your final payment that is due on your session day.
Not looking for strictly digital images? We can work with that!
Print Packages are available too, just ask for details!

Your online gallery will be open for 2 weeks for you to view and make your selections. We are happy to send friendly reminders (we know life is now very busy) but beyond the 2 weeks there will be a $25 extension charge to re-open the online gallery. If after 1 month no order is placed, the gallery will then be taken off the server. If a re-upload is requested, there will also be a charge applied.
Gift Certificates are available in any amount.
